By using a reactor vessel with a bottom outlet, the suspension of particles and reaction solution can be discharged from the continous stirred tank reactor directly into a filter frit via the bottom outlet. The filter frit is placed on a suction bottle, which is connected to a vacuum pump. The vacuum applied significantly accelerates filtration.
