Award-winning time and again: Laboratory equipment from IKA

Innovative strength, design quality and a sense of responsibility - this triad regularly earns us awards and recognition. We take this as an incentive to continue innovating with entrepreneurial courage, dynamic processes and a strong commitment to learn and communicate.

Recent: Red Dot Award 2024 for new mini dispersers

In addition to functionality, design has always played an important role at IKA. Our laboratory equipment regularly receives awards for its aesthetic and ergonomic design. Just in time for the market launch, our new high-performance mini dispersers won the Red Dot Design Award 2024. The T 18 mini digital and T 25 mini control from the IKA ULTRA-TURRAX® family, received the award in the “Industrial Equipment, Machinery and Automation” category. The jury praised the “restrained design language that blends seamlessly into any laboratory environment”.

Our appealing and user-friendly design is a constant talking point. And these are our latest awards:
  • In 2023, the HABITAT research bioreactor impressed the jury of the world's oldest independent design institution and received the iF Design Award.

World market leader 2025

We are consistently recognized for our innovative spirit. Studies by the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland have listed us in the world market leader index for years. Since 2021, WirtschaftsWoche magazine has annually awarded us the coveted seal of approval, placing us among a select group of nearly 520 companies included in the prestigious list of world market leaders.

Corporate responsibility

In 2021, IKA was once again recognized as “socially committed” as part of the SME award for social responsibility from the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Notably, in 2013, IKA achieved first place for its special commitment with the HANDS FOR CHILDREN aid project. That same year, the Oskar Patzelt Foundation awarded IKA the “Grand Prize for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises”: IKA took first place in the industry category of the Baden-Württemberg/Germany state competition.
